Hostile Witness: Between Dusk and Dawn - Women, Land and Borders
Moonis Ijlal is a self-taught artist, a historian and a journalist. He is interested in the psychology and phenomenology of form and spaces. His aesthetics is informed by the phenomenon of hybridity and evolution found in nature. His current works engage with issues of vulnerability, adaptation and survival under situations of forced migration, censorship, and strife.
